Pellets
Pellets are small plastic balls that can be turned into 3D printing filament to print 3D objects. Pellets are heated and extruded through the filament extruder to create the filament. Pellets come in different materials including ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), PLA (polyactide), and HIPS (high impact polystyrene).
A kilogram of pellets can be purchased online for about 1/10th the cost of filamant.
