A designer named tastic007 has created a Nintendo-styled case for the Raspberry Pi. The case is called “NinTastic,” and was 3D printed in three separate parts that snap together: the top, bottom, and flap.
“This case was designed specifically in creating a RetroPie gaming system, which combines a number of video game emulator technologies into a single Raspberry Pi based solution,” said tastic007.
Tastic007 3D modeled the case on Tinkercad and it was 3D printed on the MakerBot Replicator. The flap, printed in two colors, was creating using the pause-to-change filament feature on the MakerBot. The print was paused at 96% complete to change the filament.
The SD card slot is accessible through the flap and there are slots for the USB, HDMI, and Ethernet ports for the Raspberry Pi, model B. The model is available as a free download on Thingiverse.
